First they were comparing President Obama to Snooki.….now the WH is being compared to the Kardashians!
We live in a Kardashian nation, but PresidentBarack Obama isn’t exactly a fan of reality TV’s royal family!
First Lady Michelle Obama tells iVillage that her hubby, 50, doesn’t like Sasha, 10, and Malia, 13, keeping up with Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian’s antics on the boob tube.
Michelle, 47, says that like most parents, she and Barack regulate how much TV their daughters watch and what they’re allowed to see. “Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians — when they watch that stuff — he doesn’t like that as much,” she told iVillage.
“But I sort of feel like if we’re talking about it, and I’m more concerned with how they take it in — what did you learn when you watched that,” Michelle explained. “And if they’re learning the right lessons, like, that was crazy, then I’m like, okay.”
Well, like, did any of that, like, make any like sense, to like anyone like, reading this post? Did Mrs. Obama, like, really, like, graduate, like, from a like, Ivy League, like college?

While the Kardashian family is known for their big spending (Kim purchased a $325,000 Ferrariearlier this month), their upbringing wasn’t entirely different from Sasha and Malia’s.
Michelle tells iVillage she doesn’t want her girls raised as “little princesses.”
Hear that girls….only your mommy gets to act like royalty! Now go to your rooms!

“They have to make their own beds, to clean up their rooms,” she says. “Sasha has started doing the laundry. Malia was supposed to be doing it but [Sasha] is really into laundry.”
Anyone buying this story yet? Sounds like a fairy tale…(oops, didn’t Bill Clinton get called “racist” for using that phrase?)
But wait it IS a fairy tale….
Khloe, 27, told Babycenter last month about her “Cinderella” upbringing. “When I turned twelve, my mom’s housekeeper was not allowed to enter my room,” she said. Kris Jenner told her at the time: “You’re twelve now. You do all your own laundry. You make your bed.”
Oh, my bad. That was the Kardashians, not the Obamas! Silly me! I’m so confused! It’s an honest mistake, don’t you think?

I assume the risk of laughter-related injuries when I visit blogs heavy with satire. It’s a difficult skill to master, imust, and you’ve done it well. True statement.

I saw Tweety give a tease about Obama’s secret weapon and they put up a picture of Michelle. I didn’t go back after the commercial break to hear more. Ugh.
They’re still trying to push the “Jackie Kennedy” meme. Which is funny because they’re also trying to say, “She’s just regular folks…folks.”

Ah- but will he gain the indies? I want a candidate that can A. beat Obama and B. show some common sense and stay the hell out of my body. That statement was the best thing I have heard coming out of a candidate’s mouth in a long long time.
Now if we could just tweak his tax plan a little…….
Yeah….I think he did come out today with more on his tax plan….and other things. From what I’ve seen, me no likey! I don’t think he can get many indies. He’s a tea party fav. That’s why I think he’d be a good running mate for Romney. I have to read more on his plan. Perry’s coming out with a tax plan too….a flat tax. hmmmm….
Hey guys, JWS has an EC map up with his predictions. Interesting — you might want to take a goo at it. Mom, you, in particular, would be interested in seeing that he’s confident that PA will be red in ’12; I told him you were less than optimistic that that’d happen.
I saw that NES! Interesting. He mentioned the Axelrove strategy of going after the “Mountain States” like Nevada that I had talked about previously. Maybe camp Obama thinks they’re gonna lose PA too! John also thinks Rubio will be the VP choice, like you. I still think Rubio is too green (green as in inexperienced and young…not ecologically!), I’m sticking with my Romney/Cain prediction!…..for now
I agree on Rubio. I hope Romney goes with someone who at least looks like they could step in if needed. And Romney and Cain seem to genuinely like each other (so far). If only Cain was Latino…
I will pop over and have a look. At this point, the state is purple. The blue pockets are in the populated areas. So much depends on a couple of things- we are losing an EC vote due to the census- so there is redistricting happening. Gov is R and the legislature here is as well. Also there is a movement afoot to kill the winner take all method of awarding electoral college votes.
This could get very interesting.
