Since this their, what?  50oth debate, I wondered what they could possibly talk about.  So I decided to let my fingers do the walking through the inter-tubes!  Low and behold!   I came across a blog that seems  to have the scoop…. a preview of what’s in store tonight.  Somehow this blogger got ahold of Rick Satan-A-Torum’s super secret notes for the debate…….shhhhhh….

**UPDATE**  Romney wins Maine Caucuses:

At a state party gathering in Portland, state Republican Chairman Charlie Webster announced Romney had won with 2,190 votes compared to 1,996 for Paul, the only other candidate to aggressively compete in the state.Rick Santorum received 989 votes and Newt Gingrichwon 349, but neither actively campaigned there.

Imustadmit, I usually prefer the commercials to the game.  Since I live in Los Angeles, I never really have a dog in the hunt so to speak.  I wonder which team Romney will root for?

And what about Obama?  Well…apparently Barry doesn’t want to host a Super Bowl party this year.  He doesn’t want all those people around while he’s watching the game.

Obama is serious about his football. In Jodi Kantor’s book, “The Obamas,” Rep. Mike Doyle said that at one Super Bowl gathering, the president was “sitting up front” and “didn’t move” once the game started.

Some witnesses even heard him say, “Not now honey, I’m watching the game.” Joking.

This year, Michelle Obama told Rachel Ray, Super Bowl Sunday will be “quiet,” and the president will enjoy his favorite snack: nachos and guacamole.

I predict Romney by 20 points.  I also think Ron Paul will do better than the poll above suggests, in fact, I predict Paul coming in 2nd place not third.  JMO.

A lot can be said for ad wars and Romney certainly has the money for ads, but for caucuses it’s all about the ground game.  Romney has been building his forces in Nevada for months….boots on the ground.  Gingrich is flying by the seat of his very large pants.

Calm down sweetie....you know this whole dust up will be spun in my favor!

On “FOX & Friends,” Jindal said Obama pulled him aside on the tarmac and engaged him in conversation, expressing frustration in a move that he called “obviously staged.”

“He grabs me by the arm, takes me aside. Here’s the strange thing: I thought he’d be angry about the oil spill, the lack of resources; I thought he’d get down there and say, ‘Look governor, we’re going to do everything we can to work together.’ Instead, he was upset he was going to look bad; he was worried about some routine letter we had already sent to his administration, nothing important.”

“I was amazed at two things: one, that he was mad about the wrong things, and two, that he was so thin-skinned,” Jindal said.

“I wanted him to be the president of the country, and instead he was playing political theatrics.”
